Dr. Kicia Daniel has spent more than 27 years helping children, families and communities succeed.
Long before she was elected to the Tamarac City Commission, Dr. Daniel built a career around solving problems and producing measurable results.
As a nationally recognized turnaround school leader, she developed a reputation for transforming challenging educational environments. Her leadership helped move Pinewood Elementary from a D school to an A school in just one year and helped move Charles Drew Elementary from an F to a B, while producing exceptional achievement in science.
Those experiences shaped her philosophy of leadership: identify the problem, listen to the people closest to it, develop a solution and measure the results.
Today, Dr. Daniel is the owner of Immaculate Results Christian School, where she continues her commitment to personalized, faith-centered education.

In November 2022, Tamarac residents elected Dr. Daniel to represent District 4 on the City Commission.
At City Hall, she has focused on practical issues affecting residents’ everyday lives—from roads, sidewalks, walls and streetlights to public safety, youth programs, senior services, homeowner assistance and economic development.
But some of Dr. Daniel’s most important titles don’t appear on a résumé.
She is a mother, neighbor and sports mom who understands the realities facing working families because she has lived those experiences herself.
Whether she is meeting residents at a Chew & Chat, standing on the sidelines at a youth football game, visiting a neighborhood, supporting a local business or advocating from the dais, Dr. Daniel approaches public service the same way:
